DNA testing has confirmed Scribner’s paternal ancestors to be French royalty, the House of Bourbon. At one point, Bourbon royalty expanded their seats beyond France to parts of Spain, Sicily, Parma and Naples. The House of Bourbon remains royalty today in Spain and Luxemburg. King Louis XVI and Queen Marie Antoinette are well known Royals that ruled that era. The picture above is the Palace of Versailles, also known as Chateau de Versailles, was the royal residence for the House of Bourbon.
